How to Remove the Front Wiper Motor from a Jeep Cherokee

Model: Jeep Cherokee XJ, MK 2 - Years 1984-2001
Part: Power window motor

Start by removing the wipers, detaching them from their mount using a flathead screwdriver, then pull them off. Next, you will need to remove the grille located between the bonnet and the windscreen by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure it, then take it out of its housing. This will give you access to the wiper motor. Proceed to unscrew the screws that secure the wiper motor supports to the frame. Then, unscrew and remove the bolt that secures the motor, and disconnect the connector attached to it. Once this step is completed, the motor will no longer be secured to the vehicle, and you can extract it. This will successfully complete the disassembly.
