Battery Replacement in a Jeep Key

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2, MK 4 - Years 2010-2021

Extract the manual key by pressing the small button and pulling it out. Using the same key or a small flat screwdriver, pry open the seam of the casing. Remove the small CR 2032 battery and insert the new one you purchased (it is easy to find and very inexpensive). Close the key casing by pressing it together until all the clips are secured. Insert the manual key fully back in, ensuring it is firmly in place. Voila! Your key has a new battery and has been reassembled.
