Replacing the touch screen on a Jeep Cherokee

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2, MK 4 - Years 2010-2021

Here’s some good news: replacing the touch screen (or onboard computer) on this model is extremely simple, much more so than usual. You can remove the surrounding panel (which contains the air vents, climate control, and radio controls) by simply opening the lower glove compartment and pulling it out with your hands, then leveraging around the surrounding gap with a plastic wedge. Disconnect the connector and move on to the screen, where you will need to unscrew the four 7 mm screws located at its corners.
