Removing the Front Door Panel

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee MK 2, WJ - Years 1998-2004
Part: Door trim panel

Remove the protective cap located at the top of the panel, near the external mirror, and unscrew the underlying screw; then unscrew the screw in the handle recess of the internal door handle and the one in the opening lever housing; disengage the clips along the edges of the panel by levering with a screwdriver (covered with a cloth to avoid scratching the bodywork).
Remove the panel by disconnecting the lock control cables and the power connector for the window switch. Reverse the procedure for reassembly.
