Removing the Rear Bumper on a Grand Cherokee

Let's look at removing the rear bumper from a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Lift the tailgate to access the screws and rivets securing the rear bumper. Unscrew the securing screws located at the top of the bumper: there are plastic rivets that need to be removed. Remove the screws (rivets) located at the sides of the car's wheel arch liners, then use a lever to detach the securing clips located at the bottom of the bumper (between the black plastic trim and the bumper). Once the bumper is free from any screws or pins, you can detach it from the bodywork. Fit a new bumper.
