Removing the Rear Bumper on a Jeep Grand Cherokee

How do you remove the rear bumper? Remove the rear bumper from the Jeep Grand Cherokee if it is damaged or if you want to take off other parts underneath it. Lift the tailgate to access the screws and rivets securing the rear bumper. Unscrew the securing screws located at the top of the bumper: there are plastic rivets that need to be removed. Remove the screws (rivets) located at the sides of the car's wheel arch liners, then use a lever to detach the securing clips located at the bottom of the bumper (between the black plastic trim and the bumper). Replace the bumper or refit the same one after maintenance.
