How to Replace the Rear Light Bulb on a Jeep Compass

Before you start, open the tailgate of your Jeep Compass. Begin by unclipping and removing the clips that secure the rear light to the vehicle. Next, unclip the internal hooks. This will free the rear light itself. Now, pull the light from its housing, then unclip and remove the base of the blown bulb. At this point, you will have access to the blown bulb, which you need to unclip and remove, completing the disassembly. To install the new bulb, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
