Replacing the Rear Headlight Bulb and Removing the Light Unit

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee MK 2, WJ - Years 1998-2004

To replace the rear light bulb, it is necessary to remove the entire light unit. The screws are accessible on the side of the pillar. After removing the screws with a screwdriver, take out the light unit by disconnecting the connector. Once the light unit is removed, unscrew the two screws to access the bulb holders. Carefully remove the cover and replace the faulty bulb by pressing it slightly and turning it counterclockwise until it releases. Refit the new bulb using one with the same specifications. Reattach the screws of the bulb holders and reposition the light unit in its housing, connecting the corresponding connector. Tighten the screws carefully.
