Replacing the Key Battery on Jeep Grand Cherokee

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2, MK 4 - Years 2010-2021

Press the designated button shown in the video to extract the manual spare key (to be used when the battery is flat) from the remote. At this point, split the remote into two halves: to do this, leverage the gap left by the manual key using the key itself or, preferably, a small flathead screwdriver. Once done, you will find the sought-after battery: use the small flathead screwdriver to pry it out and insert the new battery you purchased. Reassemble the remote and you're done.
