Replacing the Remote Key Battery for a Jeep Grand Cherokee

In this tutorial video, you will see how to disassemble and replace the battery of the remote key for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Take your remote in hand and start by removing the key from the remote: use a sharp object like a screwdriver to insert it into the slot and lever it open, splitting the remote into two parts. At this point, access the circuit board and the battery; remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a 2032). Insert it the right way round and reassemble the remote!
