How to Permanently Disable Start/Stop in the Jeep Compass?

In the central console of the Jeep Compass, you can find the temporary disable button for the Start/Stop system, in case you find it too intrusive. However, this disablement is temporary; the system will reactivate when the vehicle is next started. To disable it permanently, you will need to obtain the cable shown in the video, which can be purchased online at a low price. To install the cable, go under the pedal area and locate the control unit to the left of the brake. Then disconnect the larger connector, connect it to the new device, and insert the latter into the control unit.
