How to Disable the Start&Stop System on the Jeep Compass?

To permanently disable the Start&Stop system on the Jeep Compass, open the bonnet to access the engine bay. Next, disconnect the connector from the battery voltage sensor: this will cause the sensor to detect a low battery voltage, allowing the car to remain running. This low voltage will also prevent the car from activating the Start&Stop system, which will then be permanently disabled. The temporary disable button near the handbrake will still function, but it will not affect the permanent disablement.
