How to Replace the Gearbox Oil in a Jeep Cherokee

Model: Jeep Cherokee KL, MK 5 - Years 2013-2023

To replace the gearbox oil in a Jeep Cherokee, lift the vehicle to access the underside of the engine bay. There will be a protective panel that needs to be removed by loosening the bolts underneath and inside the wheel arches. Once this panel is completely removed, loosen the bolt securing the gearbox oil drain plug; the oil will be collected in a suitably positioned container. You can refill through the same hole using a syringe and a tube.
