How to Replace the Starter Motor on a Jeep Grand Cherokee

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee MK 2, WJ - Years 1998-2004

To replace the starter motor on a Jeep Grand Cherokee, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. The starter motor is located to the left of the engine block, directly beneath the battery. Unscrew the bolts securing the starter in its housing and disconnect the wires and connectors so it can be replaced with a new part. After installing the new starter, you can start the car to check that the device works.
