To remove the door panel on the Jeep Cherokee, loosen the screw located in the handle's recess; once this screw is removed, pry at the bottom of the panel to detach it and disconnect the connectors inside. This way, the old panel can be completely removed from the door, allowing you to insert a new replacement piece.

The new panel must be connected to the connectors and secured with the appropriate screw in the handle's recess.
