Before doing this, ensure you have completed all scheduled maintenance tasks. Start by entering the cabin and turning on the ignition, but not the engine. Then, press the accelerator pedal fully three times in quick succession. Next, turn off the ignition, turn it back on, and check that the procedure has been successful. If not, repeat the operation, aiming to complete it within about 10 seconds of turning on the ignition.
