This guide provides the main instructions to permanently disable the Start&Stop system of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. You can disable the Start&Stop system each time you start the engine by pressing the dedicated button; however, there is a way to disable it permanently. Open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover of the battery; you will see that the Start&Stop cable connects directly to the positive terminal, which you will disconnect and insulate to permanently disable the ignition system.
