To replace the gearbox oil in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, access the lower part of the engine bay where you will find the gearbox oil reservoir: by unscrewing the cap located in this position, you can drain all the used oil into a suitably positioned container.

You can also unscrew the screws that secure the oil sump, removing it and pulling out the filter inside: after reinstalling the sump, you can top up through the same breather, using a pump.
