Brake Pad Oil Replacement

Model: Jeep Wrangler MK 3, JK - Years 2007-2018

Lift the bonnet and undo all the bolts securing the reservoir in front of the brake servo. Remove the reservoir for better access to the brake servo. Place the brake oil reservoir on a workbench and secure it in a vice. Press the piston down, and once the piston is pushed, seal the two side holes. With the holes sealed, repeat the process four times until you feel the right pressure needed to push the piston. Now you can reposition the reservoir by reversing the steps outlined earlier.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
