How to Reset the Service Light on a Kia Sonet

To reset the service light on a Kia Sonet, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to enter the onboard computer menu. Scroll through the options until you reach the "User Settings" section; within the menu, select "Maintenance Interval". When the service interval screen appears, press and hold the OK or Reset button until the confirmation request appears. Confirm the operation by selecting "Reset". Wait a few seconds for the system to update the interval. Turn off the ignition and turn it back on to verify that the service light has been cleared.
