Replacing the Battery in Two Different Styles of Kia Remote Controls

In this video, you will see how easy it is to replace the battery in two different types of Kia remote controls, one newer and one older: both require a CR2032 button battery. Start with the newer model: remove the physical key, and use it to lever open the bottom of the remote control to split it in half. You can do the same with the older remote, but here you will need a screwdriver, as the spaces are smaller. Once opened, you will see the battery in both. Replace it, ensuring to place it in the same position as the old one (if the polarity is reversed, it won't work), and close the shell. Reinsert the physical keys, and you're done.
