This video explains how to remove and replace the battery of the key remote in a Kia, a very simple and quick operation. First, press the button located on the back of the remote and extract the key. Next, using a flat and thin object (the key itself will do), open the remote in two and remove the old battery.

At this point, insert the new battery, close the remote, and reinsert the key. In just a few simple steps, you will have replaced the battery of your Kia Sportage, Optima, Picanto, or Sorento remote.
