How to Remove the Door Panel from a Kia Sorento

Model: Kia Sorento MK 1 - Years 2002-2009

Before you begin, open the door of your Kia Sorento. Using a flathead screwdriver, start by removing the plastic cover near the rearview mirror. Next, remove all the covers above the screws that secure the door, then unscrew and remove the screws themselves. Once all screws are removed, you can unclip the door panel and pull it away just enough to reach and disconnect the window switch connector. After completing this step, you can remove the door panel, and you will have finished the disassembly.
