How do you remove the door panel on a Kia Sorento? Don’t worry, follow these steps. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Begin disassembly: use a trim tool to remove the plastic cover around the door opening lever, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the internal door handle and remove the screws. Once the securing screws are removed, take off the plastic cover at the corner of the door. Use a plastic trim tool to detach the door panel and disconnect the various power cables.
