Want to change the bulb inside the number plate light on a Kia? Here’s how to remove the bulb from the light unit. Lift the boot, locate the number plate light and disconnect it to access the bulbs: lever out the plastic until it detaches from the boot. Once the light unit is detached from the bodywork, disconnect the electrical connector, and you will find the bulbs inside. Remove the damaged bulb and replace it with a new one (always of the same type and size). Reconnect the electrical connector and refit the light unit to the bodywork of the boot.
