The procedure to reset the service light on a Kia Rio requires just a few simple steps. First, get inside the vehicle, insert the key into the ignition slot, and turn it to the first position to power on the instrument cluster without starting the engine.

Now, use the buttons on the steering wheel: press the menu button to access the vehicle settings. Scroll through the menu options until you select the maintenance option, then press the OK button; press the OK button again and hold it until the display shows the confirmation of the reset.
