Instructions for Replacing Spark Plugs

Model: Kia Picanto 2A, MK 1 - Years 2004-2011

Firstly, carry out this maintenance with the engine cold to avoid unpleasant burns. Replace one spark plug at a time by disconnecting the lead and unscrewing the spark plug with the appropriate socket. The socket has a rubber insert that holds the spark plug during removal, allowing for easy extraction. Once the old spark plug is removed, insert the new one by screwing it in manually first, then tighten it with the socket without overdoing it. Finally, reconnect the lead, perhaps after cleaning the electrode with contact spray.
