How to Reset the Service Indicator on the Kia Carens

After replacing the engine oil and the corresponding filter as specified in the user and maintenance manual, you will need to reset the service indicator that has illuminated on the instrument panel. To do this, follow the instructions outlined below. First, access the cabin and sit in the driver's seat. Turn on the ignition and press the button located at the bottom of the right side of the steering wheel, holding it for about 5 seconds. Then release the button and press it again for just one second, at which point the service indicator will be reset.
