In this brief tutorial, see how to replace the battery of a first-generation Kia Niro remote. The first step is to press the metal key release button to remove it from its housing. Next, lever inside the key housing to remove the rear cover of the remote. You will immediately find the old battery that needs replacing, so remove it and replace it with a new one. Then, refit the remote by reversing the procedure. The required battery is a CR2032 3V.
