Kia Carnival - Video tutorial

Model: Kia Carnival MK 2, VQ - Years 2006-2014
Part: Shock absorbers
Operation: Rear shock absorber replacement

The replacement of the rear shock absorbers on this model of car is carried out very quickly since it works directly from the wheel arch without having to access the luggage compartment; therefore lift the car on the bridge, remove the rear wheel, apply a support jack under the suspension and unscrew the lower pin that fixes the shock absorber to the suspension support; then move on to disassembling the upper plate to completely remove the shock absorber from which the plate must be removed and applied to the new one; then proceed backwards for assembly on board the vehicle.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
