Replacement of Rear Shock Absorber

Replacing the rear shock absorbers on this model of car is done very quickly as you work directly from the wheel arch without needing to access the boot. Therefore, lift the vehicle on the ramp, remove the rear wheel, place a jack under the suspension, and unscrew the lower bolt that secures the shock absorber to the suspension mount. Then proceed to remove the upper plate to completely detach the shock absorber, from which the plate must be removed and fitted onto the new one. Then reverse the process to install it back onto the vehicle.
