Replacement of Front Discs and Pads

Model: Kia Carnival MK 2, VQ - Years 2006-2014

To replace the front discs and pads, lift the vehicle on a ramp and remove the front wheel; then unscrew the caliper mounting pins from the bracket and move it carefully to avoid damaging the brake fluid hose; proceed to remove the bracket and then the screws securing the disc to the hub (it is recommended to use a impact screwdriver); clean the disc seat on the hub and apply grease before installing the new disc, which should be cleaned of protective oil; then reassemble the bracket, insert the new pads and retract the caliper pistons before securing it to the bracket.
