How to Replace Your Car's Control Arm

The car's control arm connects the chassis to the struts. If it wears out or breaks, it must be replaced immediately as it could lead to a dangerous loss of vehicle control. You can perform the replacement yourself to save some money. To replace it, you will need to lift the car. Remove the hubcap and unscrew all the bolts with the appropriate socket, then pull the wheel off the hub. Next, detach the stabiliser link using two 14mm spanners. Once the joint is removed, the control arm will be right in front of you, ready to be removed.
