How to adjust the handbrake of the Kia C'eed

In this video we see how to adjust the handbrake of the Kia C'eed: we remove the mat that covers the access to the handbrake adjustment, located in the central tunnel. We enter with a key into the mechanism, where we find an adjustment screw: we must adjust it so that when the handbrake is fully pulled, it has a maximum of three or four clicks. After making the adjustment, we do a test: if the result satisfies us, we are done and we can put the mat back in place on the glove compartment. Otherwise, we can continue with the adjustment until we get the desired result.
