The procedure to reset the Service light on the Kia Optima involves turning on the instrument panel, inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch: once the panel is turned on, you can proceed by navigating through the menu using the arrow controls on the right side of the steering wheel. Once the option showing the remaining mileage until maintenance is displayed, you must press and hold the OK button located on the right side, until the interval is reset; once the operation is completed, you can turn off the instrument panel.
