How to install the gear shift knob on a Lancia Ypsilon version 843

In this video we can see how to mount the new gear lever gaiter on a Lancia Ypsilon version 843: the gaiter, especially if it is made of faux leather, is subject to deteriorate with use, but especially over time. In fact, temperature variations tend to ruin the gaiter. We can buy a new one in real leather, complete with ring, for example on Amazon with code B0BMG6YH5T at a price of 34.99, free delivery for Prime customers. Removing it is easy, just lever it with a small screwdriver from under the ring, remove the closing clip from the inside and then remove the gaiter. We will do the reverse operation to put the gaiter back in place by fitting it well into the ring with its screws and then tightening the clip to the gear lever.
