If you hear a knocking noise from the front end while driving over rough surfaces, it is likely that the rubber bushes of the suspension wishbones and stabiliser bar have failed; you can either replace the entire wishbones or refurbish the originals by replacing only the bushes, opting for silicone ones: to carry out this maintenance, you will need to remove the wishbones and stabiliser bar and have a press available to extract the old bushes and insert the new ones; alternatively, you can use a threaded bar and a set of sockets and washers to act as a puller.
