What is Traction Control on a Vehicle?

Traction control is a driving aid designed to diagnose the loss of grip of one or more wheels to facilitate the start of a vehicle. Its role is to adjust the wheel speed to prevent loss of control. This function is helpful for many during uphill or downhill starts on slippery roads, but some drivers may find it intrusive. This function can be disabled via the button located on the central dashboard with the symbol of a skidding car. However, it is advisable not to disable it, as it can be significantly helpful in dangerous road situations.
