Removing the Heater Fan from a Land Rover Discovery

Model: Land Rover Discovery MK 2, Discovery 2, L318 - Years 1998-2004

In this video tutorial, you will see the main steps to remove the cabin fan from a Land Rover Discovery. First, remove everything related to the dashboard instrumentation, including the steering column where you will disconnect the connectors. Next, take off the steering wheel and pull out the entire dashboard section. At this point, you will access the heater along with the fan. If you want to replace the fan, pay attention to the type of connector and replace it with a compatible one (unless you plan to install a different one with modifications).
