In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the tailgate handle on the first series Land Rover Freelander, following the instructions below. First, open the tailgate and remove the inner panel; to do this, unscrew all the fixing screws located on the sides, as shown in the video. Once removed, unscrew the handle screws using a socket wrench with an extension; then remove the handle from the outside by disconnecting the electrical connectors. Apply the reverse procedure for reassembly!
