Replacing the External Handle on Land Rover Freelander

Model: Land Rover Freelander Freelander 2 - Years 2006-2016

Using a plastic wedge, pry in the gaps of the central internal handle and pull it out. Unscrew the four screws underneath. Remove the screw cover and unscrew the screw near the internal opening handle. At this point, remove the panel and disconnect the cables. Panel removed! Now, if you need to also remove the speakers or the door lock (which is quite a lengthy process), the video skillfully shows how to do it. If you only need to remove the external handle, push from the inside of the door to release the short side of the handle, then unscrew the 7 mm screw and also remove the long side.
