In this video, learn how to remove the aluminium-coloured handle (located above the number plate) of the tailgate on a Land Rover Freelander 2. To begin: open the rear tailgate of the vehicle, then unscrew the screws on the plastic trim of the tailgate using a screwdriver. Detach the plastic trim from the tailgate, then unscrew the securing bolts (located between the tailgate body and the aluminium profile) of the handle bar using a screwdriver. Finally, disconnect the power connector for the opening and detach it from the door using a plastic lever.
