How to Reset the Service Light on a Land Rover Freelander 2

To reset the service light on the Land Rover Freelander 2, proceed as follows: press and hold the button below the odometer while simultaneously pressing the ignition button until the word 'service' appears on the display in the odometer, then release the button. Press the button below the odometer for about 5 seconds until the word 'dist' appears, press it once and the word 'date' will appear; now hold the button for about 5 seconds until the word 'reset' appears, and again hold the same button until the word 'end' appears. At this point, the operation is complete and you can turn off the instrument cluster by pressing the ignition button.
