Replacing the key battery for the Range Rover Evoque is an extremely easy operation that can be done in a few simple steps. The first step is to remove the plastic cover from the metal key by sliding it off. The second step is to insert the metal key into the designated opening to split the remote shell in two. Once the shell is open, use a flathead screwdriver to remove the worn battery and replace it with a new CR2032 battery. The third and final step is to insert the new battery and close the remote, as shown in the video tutorial.
