How to deactivate the audible seat belt alarm on Lexus and Toyota vehicles

In this video we can see how to deactivate the alarm beep, which warns us that we have not fastened the seat belts, both on Lexus and Toyota vehicles. There is a simple way to deactivate it on these vehicles. Turn on the dashboard, make sure the display is set to show the odometer reading and not trip A or B; turn off the dashboard and do not fasten the seat belt; press the ignition button twice, wait a few seconds until the information is displayed on the screen, then press and hold the reset button located at the bottom right of the fuel gauge for 10 seconds; while holding down this button, fasten the driver's seat belt. A "b-on/off" message will appear on the display; you can release the reset button and choose whether to activate or deactivate the audible signal, by pressing the reset button when the desired message appears. Turn on the vehicle and check the chosen setting.
