How to Replace the Key Battery on a Lexus NX

In this article, you will learn how to replace the battery of the Lexus NX key. For this operation, you will need a CR2032 battery and a flathead screwdriver. To replace the battery, first remove the emergency key by pressing the button on the side of the remote marked PUSH, then pull the key out. After removing the key, use the back part of the key to insert it into the key housing and lever it open to access the remote. Be careful to keep the Lexus logo facing up. Once the remote is open, use the screwdriver to lever the battery out from the side. After removing the battery, insert the new battery and press it in securely. Then close the remote by pressing to reinsert the retaining clips, and reinsert the key into its housing.
