Installation of Daytime Running Lights

European regulations require headlights to be on even during the day. To avoid frequent replacement of expensive bulbs and reduce fuel consumption, it is possible to install an LED kit which has a long lifespan and low consumption. Once you have obtained the headlight kit, you can proceed with the installation. The LEDs must be installed at a height between 25 cm and 150 cm from the ground and the distance between the two lights must be at least 60 cm. Once the correct position is found, proceed to install the plastic supports where the LEDs will be fixed. These LEDs require a control unit that must be mounted inside the engine bay in a suitable position. Once the cables from the lights to the control unit are connected, connect the black wire to the negative terminal of the battery and the red wire to the positive terminal. At this point, it is necessary to run a wire into the cabin to connect a switch for turning the LEDs on and off. Remember to turn them off when parking the vehicle.
