To replace the remote battery of the Lexus UX, press the button located on the side to extract the key from its housing. This will allow you to pry it open to separate the two halves of the remote and access the battery. Remove the battery from its housing using a tool and replace it with a new spare part. Once the new battery is installed, close the remote again and insert the key.
