This guide shows how to replace the battery of the Lexus UX remote. The first step is to slide out the emergency key from the remote by pressing the release button on the side of the device.

Using the tip of the key or a flathead screwdriver, pry open the gap to disconnect the two halves of the remote. Remove the battery from its housing with the help of a screwdriver, and replace it with a CR2032 button battery.

Close the remote and check its proper functioning before hitting the road.
