To replace the battery in the remote control for the Lexus UX, slide the key out from the top of the device, removing it completely: after removing the key, detach the plastic cover from the back of the device to access the underlying battery. This can now be slid out from its housing and replaced with a new one; after inserting the replacement battery into its housing, close the remote by reinserting the key and check that everything functions correctly.
