Instructions for Removing the Car Radio

Model: Lexus SC - Years 1991-2010
Part: Car stereo

Before proceeding with the removal of the car radio, it is advisable to pull the handbrake and shift the gear lever backwards to create more working space. Lower the collar beneath the gear lever and unscrew the fixing screw of the knob to remove it. Using a plastic lever, detach the trim around the gear lever and disconnect the connectors; unscrew the screws underneath, including the one behind the glove compartment near the gear lever, and remove the central console trim by disconnecting the rear connectors. At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the central console (which includes the car radio and climate control buttons) and disconnect the connectors to extract it from its location.
